I just wanted to let everyone know that on December 14th at 4:00 we will be having our official ribbon cutting with Mayor Steve Luecke! (We even get to use the big scissors) And that is not the only cool thing going on that Friday night. We are working on having concerts, special events and great deals on some great coffee.

Well, we had a pretty good first day. Especially since we really have not been able to advertise much. I am feeling a bit of relief mixed with a spirit of adventure. I can’t wait for our next step!
Here are some of yesterday’s highlights
– We had an estimated 80-100 people come in
– The Tribune did an article for their website on the vision and operation of Ugly Mugs. I’ll provide the link soon
– Our harvest party last night had approximately 65 parents and kids. Wow was that a blast! Everyone seemed to have a great time
Thanks to everyone who helped make our very first day a success. We all really appreciate it!

Here is the schedule for this weeks grand opening events:
– Wednesday through Friday 6am-6pm open hours
– Wednesday night at 7:00 harvest party halloween alternative. Come dressed as your favorite Bible character, or just come as you are. All kids and parents welcome!
– Thursday night Grace Community Church is having their kids and youth ministry.
– Friday Night is a special concert (still working on who all is going to play) starting at 7
– Saturday we are open from 10am til about an hour and a half after the Notre Dame vs. Navy game. Come watch the game with us!
– Sunday we’re open from about 1pm (after the church service) til after the Colts vs. Patriots NFL game.
